Welcome back to another season of cross country. We are happy to be back and raring to go!

Our first competition is at Blue Coat School, Reading RG4 6SU on Thursday 2nd November during the afternoon. We will need to leave school at 12.45pm.

Parking:

There is parking opposite the school entrance at Berkshire County Sports Club for cars, and there is an overflow car park at Sonning field. Once you arrive at Blue Coat School look out for the Keep Hatch flag.

Toilets

Portaloos will be provided by reception.

Race Order:

We will walk the course at 1.15pm, with a briefing starting at 2pm. Please can we ask parents to stay with the flag during these points.

The timings are rough guidelines. Some years we finish earlier.

First race: Year 3 & 4 girls – 2.15pm

Second race: Year 3 & 4 boys – 2.30pm

Third race: Year 5 & 6 girls – 2.45pm

Fourth race: Year 5 & 6 boys -3.00pm

Marshals

If you can help us by marshalling the course, we would really appreciate it. We are marshal position 9. We would also need support to record our results if possible too. Marshals ideally need to be able to stay for the duration of the competition.

We will provide your child with a running top. Please can they come to school dressed in their cross country clothes. We shall ensure they eat first and have their belongings together, ready to leave via the sports hall doors at 12.45pm.
