Our new topic this term is Ancient Egypt so we are excited to hear our new class reading book and to be learning about everything ancient Egyptian.

In this mornings English lesson our classrooms became observatories!

We became intrepid explorers and used torches and found some interesting activities in our classrooms. We made shadows with our bodies and hands and worked together to record our shadows on paper, which was tricky in the dark. We studied the stars and looked for patterns and alignments like astronomers of Ancient Egypt.

We’re all looking forward to using this experience to help us with our writing this week.
