Car Parking:

There is No charge for parking. We estimate that the car park accommodates up to 100 or so, therefore we suggest the possibility of car sharing to limit traffic in and out of the centre. Please fill lower car parks spaces first before using the ones nearer the leisure centre.

Race Assembly Area:

From the bottom car park: make your way to the far corner of the field past the Rugby pitch,  through the trees and shrubs and climb the verge to join the country path trail, follow the trail round to the left to the assembly point.

From the top car park: Marshals will be there to direct you up a wooded slope and round to the right to the assembly area.

This strip of grass also holds the start and finish so we would ask all parents and children to stay assembled within the coned off area.

Toilets:

We have been asked if possible, to use the public toilets located at the visitor’s centre on the right-hand side as you approach the leisure facilities. This is quite a way from the course, so please try to take your children to the toilet on the way to the assembly point. We kindly ask that you do not use the leisure centre toilets, they are for use by members only.

Refreshments:

The café at the visitor’s centre opens from 10 am to 4 pm. It is situated in the wooden cabin in the picnic area and sells both hot and cold food and drinks.

Venue Postcode:

GU18 5RG

Lightwater Leisure Centre is just off Junction 3 of the M3 motorway between the villages of Bagshot and Lightwater.

We will provide children with a running top. Please can children come to school in their cross country running kit and bring extra snacks and water. Children will eat lunch before leaving school. Collect children at 12.30pm from the sports hall doors.

Any questions please ask. We look forward to seeing you there.
