Full Time Class Teacher

The Governors and Leadership Team of Keep Hatch Primary School are looking for an enthusiastic and committed full time Class Teacher to fill an upcoming vacancy from September 2026 on a fixed term basis for one year initially.

We are looking to appoint somebody who will enjoy being a part of our friendly team and bring fresh and exciting ideas. Keep Hatch is part of the Frays Academy Trust; we work with the other schools in the academy and we are committed, as part of the vision of the Trust, that all children should reach their potential and achieve standards at least in line and, we hope, above national expectations.

Deputy Headteacher 

We are seeking a dynamic and talented Deputy Headteacher with a commitment to achieving the highest quality of education for each and every child in their care.  The successful candidate will have the energy and motivation to work with the Headteacher to continue to drive the school forward in its quest for excellence.

We are seeking someone who:

  • has high expectations of learning, achievement and behaviour for all children
  • has a sound knowledge of quality first teaching, including how to tailor learning for pupils with SEND and tilt the curriculum for its PPG cohort
  • is a qualified teacher with a proven record of excellent teaching
  • is experienced in supporting and developing staff at different stages of their careers
  • can demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with pupils, staff, families and other agencies
  • has leadership experience and an understanding of SEND and inclusion

SEMH Specialist Resource Base Teaching Assistant - September 2026

Are you passionate about supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs to succeed both emotionally and academically?

Do you believe that strong relationships, consistency and a nurturing approach can change children’s lives?

Keep Hatch Primary School is seeking to appoint a committed and compassionate SEMH Specialist Resource Base Teaching Assistant to join our team from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our brand-new Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) and play a vital role in supporting pupils with SEMH needs within a caring, inclusive school community.

The Role

As an SEMH Specialist Resource Base Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Work closely with the class teacher to support learning for a small group of pupils with SEMH needs within the Specialist Resource Provision.
  • Provide emotional, behavioural and academic support, helping pupils to regulate, engage and make progress.
  • Support the delivery of a personalised, nurturing curriculum.
  • Help create a safe, calm and predictable environment through consistent routines and relational practice.
  • Support pupils during learning activities, social times and transitions throughout the school day.
  • Contribute to assessment, observation and monitoring of pupils’ progress and wellbeing.
  • Work positively with families, staff and external professionals to support pupils effectively.
  • Uphold safeguarding procedures and model the school’s values at all time

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with children with SEMH, SEND or additional needs 
  • Demonstrates a nurturing, patient and calm approach, even in challenging situations.
  • Understands the importance of relationships in supporting behaviour and learning.
  • Can work effectively as part of a team and follow guidance from teachers and leaders.
  • Communicates well with pupils, colleagues and families.
  • Is committed to supporting inclusion and helping every child achieve their potential.
