Today brought our visit from Ufton Court and our Greek days to a close. The children enjoyed Spartan manoeuvres- learning how to be a part of the Phalanx formation and marching in lines; they relaxed as Athenians playing a variety of ancient games; and sacrificed a goat…(not a real one thank goodness). The last two days have complimented our learning about Ancient Greece really well and the children have loved the opportunity to do something different.
