This morning, to finish our topic learning all about India, the Puffins and Sparrows tasted some food including: poppadom, naan bread, onion bahji, pilau rice and korma sauce. In order to find out the most popular choice of food, we created a Lego bar chart. The Puffins’ favourite food was the poppadom and the Sparrows’ favourite food was the naan bread! We were very impressed with the children’s mathematical vocabulary when they were describing the most/ least popular choices and working out ‘how many more than?’
