We rowed longboats and raided foreign shores for riches, and we learnt how to fight with swords and axes as well as defend ourselves using a shield. In addition to this, we practised life skills such as carding wool to form thread, milking (pretend) goats and building houses from wattle. Year 5 had a great time and learnt lots too.
