Year 3 trip to Ufton Court 2026

This week, Year 3 visited Ufton Court for their Ancient Egyptian Day. The children had an amazing time taking part in a range of fun, hands‑on activities that brought the Ancient Egyptian era to life.

They explored the fascinating process of mummification, followed by a traditional-style funeral ceremony. They also took part in an Ancient Egyptian court, learning how crimes were investigated and how criminals were punished in those times.

One of the most exciting activities of the day was bow‑and‑arrow making, where the children crafted their own bows and arrows inspired by Ancient Egyptian designs.

It was an exciting, memorable, and fun‑filled day for everyone, packed with great learning and wonderful experiences.
