Welcome Parents and Carers of New Puffins and Sparrows
A big and very warm hello to our new Keep Hatch families! We are so excited that you are going to be joining us in September. Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 situation, your child’s start to school life has been slightly different and you have been unable to come into school to meet us all yet. However, we hope that this ‘New Starters’ page both provides you with useful information and allows your child to become familiar with their new teachers and classroom.
Hello Puffins and Sparrows!
Hello Puffins and Sparrows! Unfortunately, you cannot come in to school to meet us all yet so we have made some videos for you so that you can see your new classroom and meet the teachers who will be looking after you when you come to Keep Hatch. As you can see, there are lots of exciting and interesting activities waiting for you such as construction, sand, water, small world, painting and lots more. We know that we are going to enjoy learning together and we cannot wait to meet you very soon.
Early Years Foundation Stage Induction Presentation with Mrs Cartwright, Acting Headteacher
We would normally be able to invite you in to share this presentation with you as a part of your induction experience. As this is not possible currently, we hope that you will find this recorded presentation both helpful and informative as you prepare for your child to start with us in September at Keep Hatch.
School Starter Pack
When you dropped your paperwork into the office, you will have received your child’s school starter pack. This pack includes guidance and ideas for activities to be getting busy with over the Summer including an art and craft activity for your child to complete with Miss Smith. We hope that you find these supporting videos useful.
