EYFS/KS1 Full Time Class Teacher
The Governors and Leadership Team of Keep Hatch Primary School are looking for an enthusiastic and committed full-time Class Teacher to fill an upcoming vacancy in EYFS/KS1 from 01 September 2024 for an initial term of one year, with the possibility of extending.
We are looking to appoint somebody who will enjoy being a part of our friendly team and bring fresh and exciting ideas. Keep Hatch is part of the Frays Academy Trust; we work with the other schools in the academy and we are committed, as part of the vision of the Trust, that all children should reach their potential and achieve standards at least in line and, we hope, above national expectations.

Keep Hatch Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required.
Temporary School Administrator/Receptionist
The leadership team are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, school receptionist to support the school operations manager in the efficient running of the school office during their busiest administrative period. This role is for a fixed term period until the end of the summer term, commencing Monday 3rd June 2024.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Be an ambassador for the school when meeting parents and other visitors and to act as a first point of reference when people arrive
- Provide secretarial, clerical and administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team and School Operations Manager
- Contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of the school and meeting the needs of the children
- Be aware of and support differences and ensure equal opportunities for all
Responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking day to day administration duties as directed by the line manager
- Responsibility for the typing, updating, photocopying and the distribution of all pupil letters, weekly newsletters and forms, including: school policies, staff manuals
- Performing Receptionist duties throughout the school day when in the office
- Offering helpful, friendly, approachable and professional service at all times and take appropriate action on own initiative
- Adhering to school procedures and ensure that staff receive messages
- Being responsible for pupil intake administration and organise induction of new pupils.
Safeguarding
- Comply with policies and procedures covering child protection, health, safety and security
- Maintain the security of property in a way that is consistent with procedures and legal requirements, reporting any concerns about safety and security to the appropriate person
- Maintain the visitors log book and ensure all visitors and contractors can be identified by wearing clearly visible badges and are presented with the Safeguarding leaflet on arrival
