The Puffins and Sparrows have been learning about ‘The Little Red Hen.’ We used face masks to act out the story and then wrote our own versions. We have also been busy learning about pattern, 2D shapes, number bonds to 5, making hens and baking bread. One of the highlights of our topic was when Mrs Howells brought in some wheat (that she got from Farmer Pete!) and we ground the grains into flour using stones.
