Planning, designing and costing a fictional theme park #maths

Over the last two days, children in year 6 have been planning, designing and costing the their own make-believe theme parks. As business owners, children have had to keep the class updated with continuous presentation; an example of what children had to inform others on include: park name, themed areas; who’s their target audience and even the rides that would be available.

Today, children started to gather ideas in a brochure format with the help of netbook research and real life brochure examples.
