Choir Performance at Westmead Day Centre

On Monday morning, the Keep Hatch School Choir entertained the staff, residents and day visitors of Westmead Day Centre with an informal performance of Christmas songs and carols to get everyone in the festive mood – and the children certainly did that! There was a lot of singing along, toe tapping and the children even helped the day visitors and staff learn all of the actions to ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas!’ The Westmead staff were very appreciative of the children’s visit which has been described as ‘the highlight of their festive period’ but the children also got so much pleasure from entertaining everyone: a number of children commented upon how nice it was to see the happy smiles on other people’s faces.

Well done to all of the children who participated – not only for their behaviour off-site but for ‘giving’ such joy and happiness to others.
