So this will be our last Cross country competition before the final relays at Bulmershe on Thursday 19th March. We pick teams for the relays. More information about this will be sent out soon.

Venue: Braywick Sports Ground. The post code is SL6 1BN. Follow signs to Stafferton Lodge/ Braywick sports park from the A308.
There is car parking available but please pay attention to any restricted areas as there are multiple carparks. Please do not use the car parks on the left hand side nearer the fields as these are permit only. Car parking is available in the main car park in front of the site and the new leisure centre car park. For both car parks turn immediately right just after the entrance. You will drive through the main car park to get to the new parking in front of the leisure centre. As always car parking is limited.
The following charges apply:
Up to 3 hours – £1 (Free with Advantage Card)
Over 3 hours – £5.50 (£5.00 with Advantage Card)
Please do not park in the neighbouring streets or in the lay-by opposite the park.

Briefing – 2pm
First Race yr 3/4 girls – 2.15pm
Second Race yr 3/4 boys – 2.30pm
Third race Yr 5/6 girls – 2.45pm
Fourth race Yr 5/6 boys -3.00pm
Race Assembly Area:
Follow the signs from the car parks in front of the astro pitches, the assembly area is next to Maidenhead AC and Sportsable buildings.
These are located at Maidenhead AC building please note- toilets are minimal though.
There is a good wide start and it’s a very visible open course. The course is fairly flat but is extremely muddy. It runs around the outside of the rugby pitches. We ask that children keep off the rugby pitches when walking the course and waiting for their race.
Year 3/4 – 1.6Km approx.
Year 5/6 – 2.3Km approx.

This tends to be a cold race so please ensure your child has the correct clothing. We suggest taking extra warm clothing, so when they are waiting for their race they do not get cold. Also an extra drink and snack for after their race.
We will be leaving school promptly at 12.45pm. Collection is from the large sports hall down the red path. Children will get changed at school during break time and eat their lunch as soon as they are out of lessons.
We are supporting St.Pauls in hosting this competition so Miss Leigh-Murray, Mrs Coe, Mrs Millington and Mr Moir will be the staff members with the children on the day. Ms Hickey will be around but not always with the children.
