Goodbye to the ducklings 👋🏼 🐥

Dear Parents/Carers,
Please find attached an outline of our Real PE focus for the Summer 2 half-term across each year group.
After school on Wednesday 21st May, a group of children from Years 1 and 2 attended a KS1 Multiskills Festival at Robert Piggott Infants.
We have had a very busy half-term of Hatchercise including more Active Movement and lots of outdoor learning!
Please read the attached files for more information about this year's sports afternoons.
Some of our year 3/4 children had the opportunity to represent Keep Hatch at a School games golf qualifier last Friday.
Puffins and Sparrows had an incredible visit to our new pond area this week

At Keep Hatch we follow the Real PE scheme of work. This builds on developing 6 areas of a child’s learning which we call cogs. This approach allows us to develop the whole child and supports the development of fundamental skills needed to do everyday activities, such as walking, getting in and out of a car, climbing the stairs. If all the cogs work together, children will be successful and happy learners.
Well done to the year 3/4 cross country runners, who took part in the fun run organised by the Dolphin school, last Friday.
We are so proud of all of our cross-country club children and well done to those who came and represented our school at the competitions.
On Thursday afternoon, we took part in our final cross-country event of the year.
